This property in fashionable Islington in London, was owned by our client, who worked for a foremost fashion designer, and she wanted a clean, contemporary look to her end of terrace property.

Being an outdoors type, she also wanted to let the garden be an extension of her dining room, located at the rear of the house.

We were able to create a new, white, clean rear extension with generous folding glazed doors all round, and a large roof lantern.

The ‘marriage’ between the exterior and interior was achieved by the use of forest green large format textured flooring slate tiles, washing all the way from deep within the kitchen floor, through the dining area and on to the rear garden deck.

With the folding doors wide open, it offers a truly stunning view from the kitchen to the garden beyond.

The kitchen itself is appointed in bespoke ‘wenge’ cabinetry, stylishly constructed to contrast with the clean white walls.

The bathrooms upstairs are finished in contemporary bathroom fittings, and marble tiles.
